Shipping Method
Orders are posted via Courier Services or Australia Post (dependent on the shipping location and availability of shipping services). We currently post orders Australia-wide to a physical street address or to PO Boxes & Parcel locker addresses if desired.
In regards to deliveries made by courier companies, if the first delivery attempt by the courier company is unsuccessful when signature on delivery is requested, some courier companies will attempt re-delivery, however some may leave a collection slip for the gift recipient to collect the parcel from a local collection point. If you have any queries about where your parcel is, please follow up with the courier company directly using the contact details provided on the parcel collection slip. Order Packing & Dispatch Timeframe
At Harry Hoot we strive to package and post all orders quickly and with care. We want you and your gift recipients to receive your packages as soon as possible. We aim to pack and dispatch orders within 1-2 business days of receiving the order and payment, however we do our best to process orders on the same business day where possible.
Shipping Timeframe
Delivery time frames vary depending on the shipping location within Australia. Our orders are dispatched from Northern Gold Coast in Queensland or can be picked up from our Boutique Baby shopfront in Ormeau QLD.
As we are located on the Gold Coast, delivery of hampers and products to the Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast areas typically take 2 – 3 business days following processing handling time (this can vary subject to demand).
Deliveries to other metro locations on the East Coast of Australia including Sydney & Melbourne are also fairly quick, usually taking 3 to 4 business days in transit on top of handling time (however, at times can take longer due to fluctuating shipping delays due to Covid-19 service disruptions and whether the location is metro or regional).
Delivery destinations further away will take longer (approx. delivery times below):
Adelaide, SA: 3 – 5 business days.
Launceston, TAS: 6 – 8 business days.
Perth, WA: 7 – 10 business days.
Darwin, NT: 8 – 10 business days.
The further away the shipping destination from these capital cities, the longer the transit time will take, usually up to 10 business days. However, if the location is quite rural delivery times may take longer than this. If you have a hamper order that is urgent, we have an upgrade to Express Shipping option for an additional fee available at Checkout.
Please note, there are current postage delays within the Australian transport and distribution network, and this is causing delays for most deliveries. If you have an urgent order, please place it as soon as possible, any concerns please contact us.

Shipping & Handling Charges
All prices listed by Harry Hoot are in Australian Dollars ($AUD).
A flat rate of $11.95 standard postage or $19.95 express postage applies on Australia-wide product & petite hamper orders (excludes baby nests and nursing bags due to large size). These rates are applicable for orders under 5kg in weight as orders greater than this weight will incur a higher postage fee & will be advised upon order placement via email within 24 hours.
A flat rate of $16.95 postage applies on Australia-wide standard postage – Authority To Leave orders. This rate is applicable per individual hamper ordered.
A flat rate of $28.95 postage applies on Australia-wide express postage – Authority To Leave orders. This rate is applicable per individual hamper ordered.
All orders receive a tracking number to trace the journey of their package. Upon your order being dispatched from us, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Harry Hoot is legally not liable for delays in delivery that are beyond our control or product/s lost or damaged in transit. However if you contact us within 15 working days of order placement we will work with you to offer a store credit or arrange a replacement item to the value of the damaged or missing item/s. We want our customer to be absolutely delighted with their online shopping experience at Harry Hoot.
